William Aldrich
WILLIAM ALDRICH is publisher of Chicagoland Gardening, a magazine he founded in 1995 to provide regionally focused gardening information. He is a certified Master Gardener and has been a garden writer for more than 20 years, mostly with the Chicago Tribune. Bill, a past-president of the Garden Writers Association, has written six Lone Pine gardening books designed for Midwest gardeners.
Don Williamson
DON WILLIAMSON, who has turned a passion for gardening into his life's work, has a varied background in landscaping, golf course construction and management and now garden writing. He also has extensive experience in the design and construction of both annual and perennial beds in formal landscape settings. Don has a degree in applied horticultural technology and professional certificates in turf management.
Alison Beck
ALISON BECK is a seasoned gardening writer, with 38 books published to date. She came to the task well trained, with a university degree in Creative Writing and a diploma in horticultural technology. The English-born Beck has been gardening since she was a child. Her writing reflects a talent for practical advice and a passion for gardening.
